This 4th of July weekend we went camping to Knob Noster State Park. We had a great time.

On the Discovery Trail. Hiking with the doggies.
Look at the size of those musrooms

Back in the Campground
Karla snatched this picture right from our campsite.
On the North Loop Trail. This is a two mile trail that was really neat, I am sure weather in the lower 80s with low humidity had something to do with it!, but check out the pictures so you know what I mean.

Can you spot the bird?
Another mushroom (this one a tiny one) -- I didn't bite it, it was like that when I got there.
Another birdie right on our campsite
Finally, dogs tired!
Our camping stove broke on Saturday morning so we spent all Saturday and early Sunday cooking on the fire. They sold firewood in the campground but with all the rain that we've been getting this year the wood was somewhat wet and it really forced us to work hard to start our fires. Talk about a real camping experience! Here we are keeping the coffee warm.
