Sunday June 17th, 2001 / Domingo 17 de junio del 2001. On Sunday we went to the Museum of Natural History and even though we tried to find Dr. Ross (from the TV show Friends) we didn't see him anywhere. It's a great museum too. We saw the Dinosaurs, the Human Evolution, The Genome and the Big Bang exhibitions. Increible, moderno, espacioso. Y nosotros muertos de cansancio.

From there we walked a little in Central Park, which is a huge park, I think it's like 1/4 of the Manhattan's size. Following that, we went to the Lincoln Center where there was kind of a fair event on the open. We walked around the booths and had dinner there.

We went to the hotel to rest and at night we went to a nice Italian restaurant to have a few drinks. Finally, on Monday, we had breakfast in the first Blimpie of NYC and walked to Times Square. We went to the airport and arrived to KC around 7pm (after another delay). The city reminded me a lot to Mexico City: gray, busy, crowded, and big. Karla liked Mexico City's subway better, it was cleaner. We didn't see crazy people or dangerous places, situations or persons. It was not as crowded as she thought it was going to be and safer too.

The hotel was a block from Broadway (three from Fifth Ave.) and two from Central Park, so we were in a great location. I really liked my trip.
