Friday, August 8/Viernes 8 de agosto

We woke up early, took the bus and were in line to get into the Louvre by 9:00 am, to beat the crowds. We visited some of the same paintings and sculptures we saw two years ago, and had time to see new ones. We had lunch there and kept going a couple more hours. We stayed there around six hours in total. We then rested at a cafe and went back to the hotel. We had dinner in our room's balcony again. Karla was beyond tired, so we stayed there watching the Olympics.

Nos levantamos temprano y fuimos en camion al museo del Louvre para ganarle a la multitud. Fuimos a ver cuadros y esculturas que recordabamos de hacia dos anos, y otras areas nuevas del museo. Lonchamos ahi y regresamos a ver mas cuadros y esculturas. Estuvimos ahi cerca de seis horas en total, y de ahi nos fuimos a descansar a un cafe. Cenamos en el balcon de nuestro cuarto y vimos las olimpiadas esa noche. Karla no podia dar un paso mas!
