Paris 2008 Day 8

Saturday, August 9/Sabado 9 de agosto
We took the Metro to the Arch of the Defense, on the outskirts of Paris. We went up to the top, to see not only views of the city, but also the computer museum that is there (Hector had a blast!) From there we took the Metro again, to a huge park (like Central Park in NYC), Bois de Boulogne. We walked for a while and got nowhere, so we took the "Petit Train" (yes, for little kids) back to the entrance, where there were restaurants, games, and rides. We had a nice lunch (charcuterie plate and Leffe beer). After that we took the Metro again to the hotel, where we rested. Dinner in our balcony listening to music of Edith Piaf.
Tomamos el metro al Arco de la Defensa, a las afueras de Paris. Nos subimos al mirador del arco, y Hector estaba emocionado en el museo de informatica en el ultimo piso del arco. De ahi fuimos en metro a un parque enorme (como Chapultepec del DF) Bois de Boulogne. Caminamos un buen rato y al no ver nada nos regresamos en el trenecito (si, para ninos/as) a la entrada del parque, donde habia restaurantes y juegos, como de feria. Ahi comimos nos regresamos al cuarto a descansar. Cenamos en el balcon oyendo musica francesa de Edith Piaf.
