Wedding Anniversary 2009

To celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary we went back to Wisconsin to the same place where we stayed for New Year 2009 Most of the snow has melted since January but the lakes are still frozen. We had a great time.
Para celebrar nuestros13 años de casados nos fuimos a Wisconsin al mismo lugar que visitamos en año nuevo (New Year 2009) A pesar de que la mayoria de la nieve ya se derritio los lagos siguen completamente congelados. Nos la pasamos a todo dar.

Saturday we cooked a stew (for Sunday) and had a chees and wine for dinner. / El sabado cocinamos un potaje (para el domingo) y cenamos una rica tablita de quesos, pan, y vino.

Monday we went touring around and stopped at Lake Arbutus. Check out the truck on top of the lake if you are wondering how thick the ice must be. / El lunes nos fuimos de paseo y llegamos al lago Arbutus que esta a unos cuanto minutos de la cabaña. Nota la camioneta en el lago para que te des una idea de que tan congelado esta.
Black River Falls
The furnace in the general store. The sign reads: "This is the original 1912 furnace. Originally coal/wood burning and was converted to fuel oil in the 1940s. It is still operating and used in this building."
Esta es la calefaccion en una de las tiendas del pueblo, el letrero dice "Esta es la calefaccion original del 1912. Originalmente funcionaba con carbon/madera pero fue convertida a petroleo en los años 40. Aun se usa para calentar este edificio"
